Birth year estimate based on age at confirmation. His age at death indicates a birth year of about 1669. The identification as the Hanß Cords baptized in Lüchow as a young son (filiolum) on 21 Dec 1679 requires him to have been baptized at about six years old. This delay in baptism may be have been caused by the dislocations of the Thirty Years War. Or the baptism (and hence the father) could be a false connection.
