In his daughter Margaretha Elisabeth Meyer’s marriage record in Dannenberg in 1767, he is listed as “seel. Joh. Christoph Meyers gewesenen Haußwirths in Bresenbruck” (Breese im Bruche). But no Johann Christoph Meyer could be located in the church records of Breese im Bruche. It is therefore likely that he is instead the Christian Meyer from Celle who married Sophie Marie Dorthe Biedemanns in the pastor’s house in Breese im Bruche on 1 Jul 1727. The bride was the sister of the pastor, Johann Julius Biedermann, who served in Breese im Bruche from 1722 to 1729.
